Head of Legal Office of Strategic Alliances and Partnerships
As Senior Director and Head of the Broad Institute’s OSAP Legal Practice, Angela oversees, manages, and leads a team of 15+ law professionals and plays a leadership role in the advancement and commercialization of Broad’s novel technologies through BD&L deals and strategic intellectual property management. Angela works closely with executive management, academic and business leadership, and entities affiliated with the Broad to develop and execute externalization models and strategies. In collaboration with deal teams, Angela is responsible for the structure, drafting, and negotiation of agreements associated with Broad’s strategic transactions, partnerships, and new company formation, as well as providing legal counsel on topics related to an existing portfolio of collaboration agreements. She is also responsible for managing the strategy and operations of Broad’s IP portfolio. il of the Oliver Wyman Health Innovation Center. She holds a B.A. in human biology from Stanford University.
