April Purcell has dedicated her career to advancing the drug discovery industry, focusing on clinical operations and development and staying up-to-date on industry trends. With extensive experience in multi-clinical operations and global multi-therapeutic clinical research, spanning from pre-IND through Phase IV clinical programs, her skills encompass protocol development, ensuring scientific rigor and regulatory compliance throughout trial execution, oversight of CROs and vendors, budget management, milestone attainment in product development, and risk mitigation to ensure successful study completion across various therapeutic areas. 

April’s therapeutic includes CNS, rare diseases, gastroenterology, oncology, hematology, and cardiology. As the former General Manager/Head of Operations of a multi-therapeutic site management organization, she provided executive oversight for operational, regulatory, and centralized research services for Phase I-III clinical trials, involving strategic planning and daily project management. 

April’s previous roles included clinical research director, clinical research manager/associate, and clinical research coordinator.
