Dominik Naczynski, Ph.D., joined Boxer Capital in 2014. Prior to his current role as managing director, Dominik served as senior vice president, conducting due diligence of public and private investments in healthcare. Dominik earned his Bachelor of Arts in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University and holds a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from Rutgers University as an NIH-sponsored Biotechnology Fellow. He completed his postdoctoral training in radiation oncology at the Stanford University School of Medicine and was a graduate of the Ignite Program within the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He has authored and been the recipient of research grants from the National Institutes of Health, National Cancer Institute, Department of Defense and other organizations. He has also published in leading scientific journals, including Nature Communications, and is listed as a co-inventor on several medical device patents.
