Manager, In Space Production Applications
Kevin Engelbert serves as the Manager of NASA’s In Space Production Applications (InSPA) Portfolio, responsible for development and implementation of the Agency strategy to enable sustainable commercial manufacturing in space for Earth. Through InSPA awards, NASA funds U.S. companies and institutions seeking to develop and demonstrate the production of advanced materials and products, including biotechnology applications, on the International Space Station (ISS) National Lab to serve markets on Earth. Mr. Engelbert also serves as the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) for many of NASA’s contracts with InSPA awardees. Mr. Engelbert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Master of Science degree in Finance from the University of Houston at Clear Lake.
