Controller
Pete is responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day operations of the accounting & finance department of Biocom California, Biocom California Purchasing Group, and the Biocom California Institute. He manages the three entities’ financial, compliance, and operational reporting and works to mitigate business risks while enhancing value for their many stakeholders.
Pete started his career as an external auditor with PwC and now has over 17 years of experience in the accounting field. In addition to his regular work, Pete has also taught accounting and business courses at several San Diego area universities. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting/Business Administration from Cal State San Marcos in 2002 and a Master in Science Accounting/Tax in 2011. He has been an active CA CPA since 2004.
